Small, bald patch on crown? Is this balding? [Photos Included]

Hey everyone,

I've taken some photos of my crown and just wanted to know what you think this is? Usually with crown thinning I've seen a bigger more thin patch, but for me it's one very small hairless patch, but all around it is still pretty thick. Is this the beginning of crown thinning? It looks very weird compared to other images I've seen.

I remember I did get a mole removed from my head when I was much younger, so was wondering if this was maybe that, or if it's just balding? I thought if they removed a mole they wouldn't just leave a big patch right.

I'm already receding at my hairline, probably a NW2-2.5 at the moment.

Any opinions/advice would be great! Thanks :)

Its not balding its widened scar from photos.
Really? Okay thanks for your input! I had the mole removed from my head when I was like 10? (I'm 22 now) So I can barely really remember it, I feel like I've noticed this bald patch before but maybe forgot about it or something.

It seems bizarre they'd leave me with a big scar/bald patch on my head doesn't it!? The mole wasn't cancer or anything, I was just getting another one removed for aesthetic reasons so I got this one done too in-case it would cause trouble in the future.

How bad do you think it looks? No one's ever said anything, I guess it's usually more covered by hair but I parted my hair around it to show it for this photo
