Slight bulging around male pattern baldness areas

Hi, I've only been experiencing hair loss for a year but I can say with a good amount of confidence that my skull is bulging out in the male pattern baldness areas. It could just be me but when I feel the bone in the thinning areas, they seem to feel like they bulge out more since when I first discovered I was losing my hair.

Anyone else experience this? What is the cause?

hair loss has been linked to a decrease in subcutaneous fat layer in the scalp

so in essence the less subcutaneous fat and the sensitivity to DHT in the follicles
leads to hair loss

you can feel your temples and feel your cranial bones

some people speculate that your cranium grows with age
it is known that your subcutaneous fat layer "baby fat" does deplete with age

it is more the sensitivity to DHT that really causes hairloss in the follicles IMO

Yes, maybe my skull isn't expanding, maybe it's the layer of fat beneath my scalp skin that is thinning. The thinning allows me to feel more of my scalp.
