Simple minoxidil Question: Timing of Dosages

So I apply a dosage of 1ml twice a day but here's the thing, I am not really consistent with the exact timing due to life factors. Here's an example:

If I have work, I apply it around 11:00 PM in the evening before and then when I wake up around 6:00 AM, I apply it again for the morning dose... so you get the idea! Sometimes, like today when I don't have anything to do, I apply it each 12 hours (e.g. 2:00 PM and then now 2:00 AM)

Is 6-hours of an interval acceptable between the dosages? May this affect its efficacy in any way?

There really isn't any reason why you can't apply it 6 hours later.

15-17 hour p/d apart dosing is a bit far apart for my personal taste, but as long as you're within the 24 hr window (which UR) you're probably good to go. Good luck.

I've been using minoxidil for about 2 full months. For the first month I applied it up to four times a day.. I've had so much regrowth, I'm almost to the point I don't need a hat to leave the house

Haha, yeah sorry. The left is the newer picture.
Maybe this picture would have been better to use, I think my hair is the same length, it's hard to tell.

Again left pic from today, pic on the right is from around July 20th

I always wondered how you people with short hair even notice any shedding and especially if you are balding... I mean, I notice exactly how much I shed but that's because I have waist-length hair so it's a lot easier to notice them when combing...

Wow amazing progress. Gives me hope even completely slick bald areas can regrow. Also besides your hair growth they generally appear thicker and healthier.

My hair was really light blonde before I started my regimen, since I started using biotin and saw palmetto it's been getting a lot darker. Even my arm hair is gradually turning dark, which used to be almost invisible!

Gymshady, how long have you been experiencing male pattern baldness? Btw congratulations on your progress. Also could you discuss your reasons for double dosing? My understanding has been that more min. than directed produces no additional benefits. Perhaps you need more due to your severe degree of hair loss? Much appreciated.

I'm 32 years old, my friends noticed when I was around 17 that my hairline was receding. I didn't believe them.. Just went along with life, at about 25 I noticed it had gotten pretty bad.. So instead of treating it I would just wear a hat... Every day.. Anyways fast forward to now, I have a job where I can't really wear a hat at work anymore so I read up on products that might help, picked up minoxidil and googled recommend doses, found a couple of threads that mentioned applying 4 times a day could be beneficial so I just tried it.. My scalp could take it, so I continued to do it, I've switched back to twice a day now though. I'm not sure if I'm just a good responder to minoxidil or the 4 times a day did anything.. I have not even been using it for 2 full months, I saw results after I think 2-3 weeks. Seems like a miracle to me.. I'm still thin in a lot of places but it's only been 2 months, hopefully my forelock gets darker.. Right now it's just vellus hair..
