Silicon, tricomin and rogaine

Hi,

I use tricomin for scalp irritation from minoxidil. I apply it after showers, before minoxidil. My question is if tricomin can interfere with minoxidil and making it useless? In the rogaine info. it says not to use a shampoo that contains silicon and I think a another name for silicon is dimethicone. Tricomin contains Amodimethicone. Can anyone please clear this out. I want to continue buying and useing tricomin.

I think the problem is the silicon may make a layer on the scalp interfering with the absorption of the minoxidil.

For that reason it's better to apply the tricomin AFTER the minoxidil.

Yes that is what I suspect but the the problem is that I dont think I could handle the minoxidil without tricmoin before minoxidil.
