it's one thing taking a drug with known and established side effects that have been properly aired and studied. you make your choices. with finasteride we are all guinea pigs.

Finastride - slow hairloss, maybe regrow, messes up your body and functions incuding your dick, can cause depression, impotence, have to take pill every day

Hair system - gives full head of hair, have to maintain once a week for an hour and check the hairline for coming up and re-order every 6 months. Can’t have women run hands through hair ( which I couldnt anyway with the amount of topik i had )

It’s an easy choice for me... because once you have a hair system you’re not against the clock anymore, sure it’s not ideal.. but then eventually something WILL come out where you can regrow your real hair again, wether that is tsuji or something else

DO NOT f*** your body up with finastride

Nonsense!!! There are no studies! Finasteride gives you pornstar dick, lush Brad Pitt hair and Bill Gates wealth...... I read it on a forum somewhere.

I have decided to stop oral finasteride. Thank you for your ideas.

Now I'm just confused about what I could start.

I'm considering topical finasteride - to test if I get the same side effects. Otherwise, I'm a little shy for ideas.

What would you recommend me to try. most to reduce hair loss
Avodart...more potent..considered to have more side effects..but perhaps you are fine with it...like me

"Thousands?" LOLOLOLOL Link? And what the f*** are you on about "Rambo," "dumbing down," and "beer muscles?" We're on the internet, not in a bar, and I'm not drinking nor trying to intimidate you. You've lost the argument because you haven't provided a SCINTILLA of data, so now you're trying to outlandishly recharacterize my very rational, logical rebuttal to your irrational, illogical claim. You're proving my point - the forums are full of people who are at best overly sensitive and emotional and at worst mentally ill - whether you typify the former or the later, I'll leave others to judge. Again, correlation is not causation. Lots of crazy people take finasteride, or develop depression while also taking finasteride. That doesn't mean finasteride causes depression, and there is ZERO data to claim otherwise. If you think Merck is perpetrating some conspiracy, hiding data that finasterdie causes depression, then why didn't they do that with the impotence side? Men are far more afraid of impotence than depression, so why choose to conceal the side least likely to hurt sales while publishing the one most likely to suppress sales?

Start a poll - lets see "thousands" claim that finasteride gave them depression. Do it - give us the data.

Actually it's an official listed side effect from Merck's latest Propecia© patent revision.

See for yourself :

It is a bit childish to keep on screaming for evidence if you know that the independent research on that particular is rather scarce. I don't want to call the kettle black because I was exactly the same before my own experience with finasteride. All we know at the moment is that finasteride can cause very bad side effects and there is a lot of reason to think that the side effect percentage is higher than Merck claimed initially. Over the last years there have been some researches conducted that slightly shed a light on why so many people get such bad reactions from finasteride but overall, we are still very much in the dark.
