Sides going part of male pattern baldness?

Hello, 35 year old male. I have male pattern baldness on the TOP of my head, but I've kept it at bay with Propecia and Rogaine for about a decade (heavily relying on concealers) Recently, I noticed the sides of my hair are starting to thin. They weren't like this even a few months ago. I have been on a prescription called Omeprazole for acid reflux for about two months. I could be crazy and maybe have just never noticed it before, but it really seems like my hair went to hell as soon as I started on this medication. Hair loss is listed as side effect in less than 1% of people on this drug. Can anyone tell me if the sides of my head could be from regular male pattern baldness?

Losing hair on the sides can definitely happen from male pattern baldness, just look up Christopher Hitchens... :p but if you went from the pic on the left to the pic on the right in a couple of months, I think it must be the medication you took.

Best of luck brother!

Thank you for the reply. Those pics are actually days apart, it's just one is completely dry and one is right out of shower.
