Side effects from Finpecia

I have been taking finpecia for about three weeks and it feels like I have to pee all the time. Going to the doctor to see if some type of bladder infection. I also have soreness round my lower stomach. Anyone know if this is typical?

finasteride is a prostate medicine. Older men take it to decrease the size of their prostate so they can pee easier. Your prostate probably shrunk

Like zzz noted, it shrinks the prostate and results in better urinary flow, since it is used to treat bph. Maybe the finasteride you are taking is not legit.
