so I have an older brother and I am deciding on how to go about treating my hair loss and he has tried a good bit already, he’s 7 years older, and has basically accepted bald now 
But he told me finasteride didn’t do anything for him and he was on it for 6 months and he did min for a while too and said that only helped him slow it down but still lost on it.
I did min too for a while and pretty much the same thing but I’m considering finasteride, but I already tried dutasteride and 5 days in got sides that took me weeks to recover from. So I’m scared to take finasteride and get sides and no results.
Basically does anyone have siblings/immediate family who have responded to treatment where they didn’t or vice versa?
