Showering after foam application

How long must you wait before you can wash your hair after applying Rogaine Foam? I assumed it penetrated pretty quickly, but say I applied in the morning and went to the gym, can I shower in a few hours after 1st application without reapplying?

I thought the foam dries in about 15 minutes? I use foam but sometimes I shower within an hour, sometimes half an hour. Is that okay or am I just wasting the application by doing that?

it does dry to the touch in 15 minutes, max.. however it is still on your scalp after this period and needs to be there, ideally, for 4 hours for maximum absorption.
