We know that the effects of finasteride/dutasteride can last up to 12months, so shouldn't the hairs that are going to be transplanted by soaked in finasteride/dutasteride before they're reimplanted tomake them last longer???

The effect would be very short lived. And it could cause a local estrogen change, which could cause temporarily shedding.

The hairs in back do thin, but just not as fast as the rest. If you are NW7, you are probably aware that the hairs on the sides of your head are much thinner than those on top of the average person's head. Many guys wearing hair pieces can't wear as thick as they want because their thin sides give them away.

The hairs on your sides do not die, but they do get thinner with DHT.
