should itching stop if im using finasteride?

ive been on finasteride for about two months now. recently ive noticed that my scalp is itching a lot more than when i started and when i pull at the spot i usually get a couple of hairs but im going through a minoxidil shed so im not too surprised about that. however im worried about the itching. is this normal?

It's probably the minoxidil lotion that's causing the itching, not finasteride.

I used several minoxidil lotions and I couldn't tolerate any of them (flaking, itching). The new Rogaine foam is much better.
