- In conclusion this test mean I will have GREAT RESPONSE to propecia !!
- I am wondering should I hold out on this constant shedding from propecia.
- I went from a Norwood 1 to a Norwood 2 while on propecia and got diffused all over( added spironolactone to help with that).
Seems that test don't mean anything if propecia never helped you the first time. minoxidil helps, and by now you should know if you want the hair you got to do the work and apply everyday. It might only be for the next 6 years when in that time a breakthrough in cloning comes or some other advancement.

BTW, colorful post

I'm a bit hesitant to start minoxidil as well, but I doubt it will make things worse really...
Some people have kept them gains on minoxidil for a decent amount of time, SE-Freak is a good example... I'm sure there are a few others.

Bit stories like Assignment Zero's are a bit disheartening.

I'd say if you current plan doesn't kick in after say 6 months I'd start to consider it. You want as much hair as possible while you are still young and like Mykal says, who knows what is around the corner. You might be able to keep your current hair for 5/10 years, a cure might come and noone will ever know you were ever gonna be bald :)

That's why I'm making this poll... Thanks for your vote dude !

What? Where did you get that info from? Your saying that 85% of people who use minoxidil end up worse than baseline?

Ok ive voted. I think its better you wait a year and then if you are not happy with the way your hair is, consider minoxidil.

I also think you should wait before you add minoxidil. but also its up to you. I think most of those people you see that get good results and then lose is because they stop using minoxidil cause they regrew and take it for granted.

I haven't seen anyone get worse than their baseline because of minoxidil, show us a story where that has happened?

minoxidil doesn't cause hair loss, why would it make you worse off?

AZ's ... he had good results for about 4 months then it all shedded away

He is no worse than his baseline though, he only lost the hair that came with minoxidil...

And it doesn't always work like that. AZ's seems to be on the pretty severe end of the scale, he was pretty unlucky.

Guys like StrangeKarma, SE-Freak, Joeb and that dude who have a boxer/fighter in his avatar, he regrew a ton and kept his gains... I just can't remember his name, lol.

Anyways, like Seaback said, just because it happened to AZ doesn't mean it'll happen to everyone.

imo ditch all those vitamins and just take propecia for 3-6 months and go from there.

also cancel your account here, your obsession with your hair is ridiculous, especially for somebody who started in such a good spot.

ive become this way because of the increaded shedidng and hair thinner all over my head due to propecia.. your right 8 months ago myhair was not bad... now thats not the case

I'm concerned about my hair too man, and believe me it's hard to cope with it, especially when people tell you that you should grow your hair out because you look 10x better..but you need to take your mind off it. Judging by your posts hair loss is consuming your life.

not trying to offend you or anything like that, but the more you worry about it the more hair you will lose. Get on either propecia, min, or both (TREATMENTS PROVEN TO WORK!)..use them for 6 months and go from there. Ditch all those vitamins and shampoos, they will only make you over think things and put a dent on your wallet.

my 2 cents:

Keep your regimen for a year and then evaluate adding minoxidil.
From the tests youve done it looks like you will respond well to Finas.

-Finas on a steady dose for a full year and then asses.

-Keto 2% shampoo 3 or 4x week. leave on 5 minutes before rinsing. You say it dries your hair but that is a small price to pay for the benefits of keto and the convenience of using a shampoo ( just adda few drops of emu oil and mix in your hand before applying... and or use a nice conditioner after. If you have short hair its even less of a deal.

Keto works. read the studies. Its a growth stimulant, antiandrogen, antinflamatory. For this reason I would use at least 3x week.

- Try Dr. Proctors Nano conditioner. it has all the active ingredients of the shampoo and you can leave it on longer. Useful since you are not on minoxidil.

-Nano shampoo as many times a week as you want.

I would drop those other non-medicated shampoos you are using and maybe add a good PO shampoo to the mix and/or as a pre wash to nano.
