I get occasional scalp pimples, they're usually pretty small. I wouldn't notice them if I didn't look for them since they aren't itchy. But I heard they're caused by a build up of DHT, which worries me.
Can they also be caused by an oily scalp? My hair has always been oily, so that could explain it. I also recently started using hairspray, so that may have irritated it as well.
I have no scalp sensitivity or itchiness. Half of my dad's side of the family is bald, the other half have full heads of hair. No one on my mom's side is bald. I'm 18 without any hairloss at all.
Right now I have a small, painless one in the middle of my forelock. Do I panic?
EDIT: I guess it could also be from all the fast food I've been eating. The show I'm in opens tomorrow, so I've been eating McDonalds for lunch every day since I don't have time to go home and make anything. It caused the rest of my face to break out, so maybe it caused a scalp pimples too. The pimple is pretty close to my forehead, which has a bit of acne right now.
