Or still cut it in 1/4? I took Propecia for nearly a yr with not much results at all. I began taking Proscar on and off for the last few months. I have been splitting it into 4th's, but since my insurance covers it, has anyone been taking the whole 5mg of proscar at once? If so, what were your results? side effects? concerns?

I think there may be a greater risk of sides if you switch up to 5mgs/day. I have heard that some believe taking 5mg twice per week can be as effective as a daily dose.
If you haven't seen results, you should try minoxidil if you ain't yet.
