Should I Take Finasteride Or Stick To Minoxidil?

I would like to know if I should be on finasteride or not.

Here is a little summary about my situation:

I started losing a lot of hair about two years ago and I mean a lot like a surprising amount in just one year. To this day I still don't know why I lost that much hair but it has left me with thin hair and a Norwood 2 hairline.

I decided to take action at the start of this year by using Kirkland Minoxidil 5% and I have been on it for 5 months now using nothing else.

For me personally I think that the results are okay but I think it could be better. I have recently bought nizoral and a derma stamp 1.5mm but I'm unsure if I should be on finasteride as I am a bit skeptical about the side effects.

I have provided pictures of the first three weeks on minoxidil and my current hair. The temples doesn't seem to be improving so I think I'm gonna be stuck with Norwood 2 but it be nice not to see my scalp when I pull my hair back.

To summarise, should I stick to what I am doing now or get on finasteride?

Thanks for any advice given.

You should always be taking an AA like finasteride or dutasteride to tackle male pattern baldness, minoxidil alone isn't enough.
