I’ve been on %5 Kirkland (Minoxidil) for 2 months now, my hair seems to be getting worse ever since I started using it. I’m shedding like mad on the front and middle of my head, is this a good sign or should I stop?

A definite sign that you are responding to treatment.

Stick with it for much longer.

Take some time and read some of the posts re: minoxidil. You can't make a judgement on any treatment after 2 months. That's a microsecond in the world of hairloss treatment. Like Plunk stated, you need to give it much longer....at least 12 months. In the meantime, don't freak out and start counting hairs. Stick with it and live your life.

That other crap you're ordering is fine, but probably won't grow hair.

What's the problem? I'm assuming the 2nd picture is your after picture, and if that's the case you look like you're responding well!

How long was it before you started noticing improvements? Do you take propecia also? Did the front of your scalp fill in?
Lots of questions, i'd really appreciate it if you could let me know. I've been on minoxidil for 9 months and not noticing a great improvement, however i've only been on 5% for the last couple of months.

I only started noticing about a 2 months ago, i am still lossing hair when i shower (about 15 - 20 hairs) but i dont seem to worry about it.

I dont take propecia or anthing like that, just multi vitamins once a day. the front of the scalp has grown alot of hair! seems like i not loss any hair at all.

ive been on minoxidil for a year also using nizoral 2% and other shampoo to clean off the minoxidil after i wake up. i apply minoxidil before i go bed and then wake up in the moring and wash off the minoxidil.

Can you show the part line in the first before pic rather than have your hair combed forward so we can see the fill ins? Also why is your hair lighter? Just curious. :)
