I have been on Propecia for about 7 1/2 months. 4 days ago I was having sex with my wife and lost my erectio half way through. Last night, I was getting oral and could not get an erection for a long time. Once I finaly got one I was good to go.

Never had these problems at all, infact it used to be that if the wind blows I'd get an erection.

Should I stop propecia? wait a little? what do you guys recommend and has any one experience this after seven moths?

Hey Big Perm,
dude, don't stop Propecia, there are ways around this... In fact, I had the same problem as you: At around the 3-month mark on Propecia, I had impotence and loss of libido... This went on until about month 5 when it seemed to have cleared up... Later that year, perhaps around month 9 or 10, it seemed to have come back...

Well, I'm no longer taking Propecia, not because of the sexual side effects, but because of my hair. It seems to have thinned considerably.

But I digress. You're sexual side effects will go away with time... They WILL. For the meantime, have you tried considering for a supplement? L-Arginine (2g/day) works wonders for me! In two weeks time, you'll have a healthier-looking, more-toned body, and a functioning dick... It works so well for me-- I get the urge to have sex several times a day.

There are, of course, medications like Cialis and v****, which can be purchased cheaply online. But I would recommend the L-Arginine first. They work around the clock.

Anyway, that's just my two cents.

My first suggestion is stop posting such graphic sexually oriented posts like that one. Secondly I dont suggest you stop Propecia because of one little glich, it would be an over-reaction. See how things go before jumping to conclusions about Propecia. Its probably completely unrelated to your recent failures.

Apparently you have never been to the off-topic board.
This one is pretty tame next to some of the posts I've seen there.

I apologize if I offended any one. Thanks for the advice Aplunk1.

i remember a few years ago out of nowhere i had no sex drive for several weeks. it was hard to get an erection.

thing is, i wasn't even on propecia. if i had been, i probably would have blamed it for my problems and stopped using it.

lesson learned--sometimes your body does strange things. correlation does not equal causation.
