I think CCS should purchase some Veet hair removal cream for men. He should also purchase an expensive electric razor and shave his facial hair everyday. He complains about getting razor bumps but most guys know that if you shave daily the razor bumps start to go away. But he could always use a moisturizing aftershave balm additionally. On the other hand he can continue to work hard and spend his money; the money he always works so hard for on laser hair removal. Any guys on this forum who are half good at pulling girls know that girls do not care about facial hair or body hair and if they do they consider the methods I have outlined as more than acceptable.

Shaving the entire body takes me lots of time. Putting cream on my whole body sounds like a lot of cream.

I used to use an electric hair trimmer for my whole body. It did make me look better. At 1/4 inch, I'd get a few bumps here and there, and at 1/2 inch no bumps at all. My body hair is naturally about 1-1.5 inches long, and course. Yeah, it was acceptable, and cheap. But man, I look way better with no hair at all on my legs like I have now.

I'm well aware how many good dinners out I can get for $1000, and that $1000 is a fraction of what I need to get rid of the hair. If that was the only $1000 I'd have in a while, I'd do the electric hair buzzer. But my reasoning is I'll make plenty more money eventually, and be glad I have the best of both worlds. I'm sure I'd be a lot less depressed right now if I was spending my money on fun stuff instead of on laser though. Being broke is no fun. A single guy like me should be able to take 5 women out to dinner every week, sex or no sex. I got the money, but I'm spending it on laser, and being cheap with the ladies.

Spend thousands of dollars on laser hair removal?

How about a 3rd option:

Man up and stop being a douche?

Seriously I'd think that any grown woman would find it bizarre that a man has no bodyhair. We are supposed to be hairy.
Until he realises that he will never be happy with his appearance and gets the psychological help he needs he will just continue on this hopeless path.

Or how about another poll.

Have you ever been worried about your bodyhair enough to consider laser hair removal?

Well, high androgens means less head hair and more body hair, low androgens vice versa (female).

I normally use an electric shaver to shave, yesterday I was in a rush and I used razor to shave. It's been a while since my last wet shave and I forgot how thick my beard is.... I started agreeing with all those comments that MSM makes all the hair grow thicker....

Anyway, I have hair on my back as well and I hate it. I never waxed or shaved my body hair but I'm seriously planning to start shaving my back with a body trimmer/shaver.

If I had money I'd go the laser route, but it's out of question for the near future.... However, I do agree that CCS is obsessing too much about it. Men are supposed to have body hair, it's not repulsive at all.

it's because he wants an 18 year old girlfriend. 18 year olds are stupid and delusional and are looking for that androgynous metrosexual they see on tv. On top of that most 18 year old guys seem to look about 15 these days anyway and have no facial/body hair so that's what they're used to dating. If he'd just date a woman his age his minute hair loss and body hair wouldn't be an issue. That said, shaving is a pain in the *** and if given the option I'd probably get the laser thing done just out of pure laziness.

C C S,

Why on earth would you want to get rid of all your body hair? Especially your facial hair....?

I have NEVER met a girl-woman of ANY age who doesn’t like a MAN with facial hair (beard hair) either clean shaved or a bit longer… I repeat: NEVER EVER.

On the other hand, I have noticed –been told by woman how they do NOT like it when a guy has no real beard growth……. Dude, ive been surrounded by woman all my life…..sisters, aunts, cousins, school friends, girlfriends etc etc etc….. Ive always had woman of different age groups and roles in my life……. And Ive paid close attention to what they say and to how they relate to men and what are the types of guys they like etc…… I have never seen a guy whos obsessed with laser hair removal- (looks in general) have any kind of success with woman.

CCS you are not poor-poor. Instead of throwing away your hard earned money on this crap…. Get yourself a plane ticket and travel the world a bit…(maybe through teaching English abroad)…… this will allow you to get perspective on things and enrich you in so many ways…..

A single guy like me should be able to take 5 women out to dinner every week, sex or no sex. I got the money, but I'm spending it on laser, and being cheap with the ladies

why do this? you do not have to buy woman anything.... you cannot buy their attention.

I'm sure I'd be a lot less depressed right now if I was spending my money on fun stuff instead of on laser though.

Yes. try traveling abroad for a while man..... a change like that will do you good.

I second SAF on his advice to you.

I think this must be a regional and age thing. At the gym there are so many guys where I'm located
that have no body hair and the younger they are the more likely it is that they are waxing or shaving
everything. It may be a fad or part of the metrosexual or bodybuilding lifestyle. I know a lot of these
guys are execs and would be classified as metrosexuals or at least well groomed in most circles but
it seems to be a required look if you want to be a rising star in the corporate world. I'm way past trying
to use my appearance to get ahead so it's kind of amusing to watch.

I naturally have very little body hair and it often comes up anytime I have my shirt off. The young
women that I associate with (daughters and friends of daughter) all say they prefer hairless men
especially after they have been with one. So I think the younger you are the more likely it is you
shave or wax your body. There term I hear a lot is "body hair is so gross". And that goes for the
young women too... most have nothing resembling natural pubic hair if they have anything at all
based on my wife's stories about the gym. It's the "pornification" of women and men.

I spoke with a Dr on an airline flight about 6 months ago that owned a laser hair removal clinic in
Phoenix. He said that his clientele has been shifting from women to men for several years and now
men make up 70% of his customers. So CCS would not be alone if he wants to be hairless.

Hahaha... I never asked why they don't go home with me :) . Besides body hair is not visible, it's not like they see it in the open and make up their minds depending on the amount of body hair.

I don't think body hair stops anyone from getting women, unless it plays in your mind and causes insecurity which is the biggest turn off for women.

I heard this from a female friend who I consider not to be shallow at all. I had my tshirt sleeves rolled high she could see my shoulders and she made a comment that I had too much hair :$ . Then we started talking about it, she didn't say she wouldn't date a guy because of the body hair but she did say that she didn't like it. My ex was there as well, and she was saying that she wasn't bothered at all, etc...

That was the only time I was involved in a conversation about body hair with the opposite sex, and I was surprised with my friend's reaction. I have to admit that her comment hit a nerve, but if I was talking to a woman my body hair would be the last thing on my mind.

What's the worst that can happen? She goes home with me, we get naked, etc...... then when I ask her if she wants to meet again, she says no... Who needs such a woman in the first place?

Since we are on the subject....

I went out for a meal with a few friends once, and one of the girls in the group was wearing a skirt but her legs were hairy. Her leg hair was very obvious, and I wasn't the only one to notice...

I don't mind hairy legs, my ex girlfriends have occasionally gone without shaving for a certain period of time. I don't find it disgusting or a turn off, I don't mind at all.... But, wearing a skirt?? If that was my gf wearing a skirt with hairy legs, I would probably say something to her...

I don't know what that says about me. I don't judge people based on their appearance, but there are certain social protocols that people should follow. For example, I hate shaving, but if I was doing something serious, I'd make sure I'm clean shaved... I go without shaving for 10-15 days sometimes, and then I have a meeting or I go for a meal and I shave...

Good points Casperz but here is my take on things....

Im probably in the age group as those sissies you see at your gym (the young exec types)...

Ive lived all over, metrosexuals and insecure douchbags who cant handle looking like men are everywhere.... the exception would be someone who is a competitve pro or amateur athlete in bodybuilding or swiming or biking etc etc..... thats a diferent case.

really young kids who are trying to adapt to what their retarded young female friends are saying about ¨(gross body hair) are insecure.....

ive noticed that very young girls are intimidated (but still like ) guys with grown man features like body hair etc ...because they tend to be very insecure about how they interact with men.... thats why they tend to go for the less threatening looking boyish kids... just look at the teen heartthrob type ..... very emasculated dudes...... then as this girls grow and turn into woman....they maybe feel less intimidated by men and start going for the real looking guys... (look at deNiro for example.... hes not perfect looking and looks like a guys guy...)

it seems to be a required look if you want to be a rising star in the corporate world. I'm way past trying
to use my appearance to get ahead so it's kind of amusing to watch.

from what I have seen none of the succesful guys in my industry fit this look. young or older. and I can say the same of a bunch of other sectors.... if you look like a male bimbo no one will take you seriously.

A guy in my firm came one day in the middle of winter with one of those fake tan salon looks ....and it was insane the amount of sh*t everybody gave him for weeks .......

The young women that I associate with (daughters and friends of daughter) all say they prefer hairless men

shave or wax your body. There term I hear a lot is "body hair is so gross".

again....they must be pretty young..... (some) girls appear to be retarded from 13 to 25......

agree. there are allot of insecure people out there.

a different case would be if someone has hair in a specific part of their body (back etc) and wants to take it off, but making a big production out of this and regularly waxing all your hair just because a bunch of insecure little girls and the latest fad on tv is telling you ....that the man look is (out) and the boy look is (in) is pathetic

I agree, he shouldn't need to remove his hair permanently. I agree that some metrosexuals like to be hairy but just use removal cream for goodness sake. Also CCS I am not saying you should spend your money on taking girls to dinner, maybe you should use the removal cream and spend your money on a more expensive wig - that is something which will attract more girls.
In terms of girls finding body hair repulsive I don't think that is true. I have slept with girls younger than 18 with body hair and they came back for more. Just look at some guys girls of all ages idealise - Jude Law springs to mind, hairy chest and receeding hairline. CCS it really is up to you but I just want you to be successful mate.

Some women may have a preference for a hairless chest, but the only body hair most women dislike is back and shoulder hair. I've a few hairs on m,y shoulders but nothing much so i leave them, but i would get rid of back hair.

Anyone heard of the back, sack, and crack? ouch!

Exactly, if you have really excessive body hair like Robin Williams or Pete Sampras then it may be a bit of a turn off but a normal amount is not. Women say they prefer smooth but thats in comparison to very hairy.
Its just like men say they prefer big boobs but how many guys would turn down an attractive women just because her boobs were'nt big?
Like I said before any woman seeing a man with a totally smooth body would think it was slightly unmasculine.

Beware of the shirtless CCS, showing off his expensive body this coming summer at his student apartment swimming pool and spa.
