Shelf life of Proscar

How long will proscar last. My Doctor wrote me a RX for 7 refills of 30 pills and I wont take near that in a year but do not want to waste the RX. Could I fill them all and use them for a year?

Usually you have to wait at least 25 days between refills of 30 day supplies at your pharmacist. Proscar typically lasts at least a couple of years.

Also be careful after you cut them up that their stored in a dark container, because the shelf life of finasteride is reduced when its exposed to light and air.
