Hey all just wanted to share my so far experience with the big three (finasteride 1mg QD, nizoral 1x/week and Minoxidil 5%BID) and ask if anyone went through a similar shedding. I am a Norwood 3 and been like this for about 3 years with no change and just decided to get on medication at the end of last December. I shed pretty much every day but nothing too drastic and have not gone below baseline and basically no change in texture density of my hair. No side effects so far other than headaches from what I assume is from Minoxidil. I have however been shedding double hairs attached to one bulb that I assume came from the same follicle. I am wondering if this is normal shedding or should I be concerned. Not all hairs that come through normal combing are like this and I probably lose no more than a hundred a day. Before I started treatment I did not shed hairs like this. I am also using a micro needling device on thin areas once a week. If anyone has input I would appreciate any responses. I have attached pictures for viewing to better understand what I’m saying.
