Shedding Short Hair on Finasteride and Minoxid Regimen

Hi,
I have been on minoxidil 2x since August 2021 and on Finasteride 3x Sep 3021. I noticed as soon as I started finasteride, my hair loss came to a complete halt from October to mid December and I had some noticeable regrowth.

However, between December to now, I have been shedding tons of thin very short hairs everyday while combing, styling or showering. Should I be concerned?

Seeking feedback from those who may have dealt with it in the past. Thanks!!

Altering natural hair cicle can cause sheding and regrowth synchronicied.
Each phase of hair cycle need different amounts of mediators
Have you a image of your scalp hair before start meds?

It could just be the initial minoxidil shed. Sometimes it takes a few months for it to happen.

Could be miniaturized hairs shedding which may be replaced by longer, stronger hair.

First pic was taken prior to starting finasteride (M/W/F)/ 2x/day Min regimen(July 2021)

Second pic is taken today (Feb 2022)

Should I be concerned? Please advise! Thanks!

There is harsher light in the after pic which could make it look worse at first, you should take a pic in the same ligthing conditions as in the first pic.

There you go another picture in the same lighting. Could this be a shed? I noticed I am losing hair specifically from this area while applying minoxidil.

Yeah I'd say it's likely a shed, it's supposed to be a good thing to shed when on treatment, I'd just wait it out and see how you'll respond to the min.
