Shedding of thin/fine hair

Hi, Does anybody experience shedding of very thin small hair? I have been on finasteride for about 9 months now, what is this a sign of? hair going off for good or new hair popping out? From the overall quality of my hair, it looks like its the former

9 months...i've been on it for exactly 1 month!..and i keep losing fine thin hair from the back of my head....fine thin hair i hadnt even noticed before.

I've been thinning for 3 years now - but quite a bit over the past 12 months.
I am losing mostly thin hairs. I think they grow back thinner and thinner till they just don't grow anymore. DEpending on which shed you are on, or what your regimine is, will depend on how long it will keep coming back. I noticed the hair toward the front doesn't grow back at all sometimes once it sheds.

Recently i shed heeps of fine hairs. Now it has stopped, im hoping thicker ones would replace them... Lets look at those fine hairs as hope :wink:
