shedding (non-med) at 40yo questions

hi all,

i started shedding a good amount (more than usual because i noticed) for first time really at 40yo. i'm noticing my top of scalp feels thinner, but lose hairs from sides & back too.

Also, just noticed that i can easily pull hairs from chest and armpit and pubic region as well. i can see they are shedding as well. t-shirts have hairs inside them.

my temples are receded a bit, but crown is fine and never even though about male pattern baldness until now. did anyone here bald aggressively at 40?

is this type of shed typical of start of male pattern baldness kicking in more? or maybe just seasonal or stress? have had some stress in last 4 months.

hi I am no expert but a picture or two may be helpful to see what's going on with your hair. You should go see a doctor to get some blood tests. Hair loss can happen at all ages by the way. Cheers
