I have been on minoxidil for about 11 months now. I switched from liquid to fosm minoxidil about three months ago because foam was easier to style with and was less irritating to my scalp. I only apply it to the frontal part of my head and with liquid minoxidil I never noticed a shed but my hair stayed thicker. Fast forward three months from starting foam minoxidil my hairline seems worse and thinner but I feel like I might see small hairs right along my hairline. Is it possible that the foam is working in the Liquid never worked for me to begin with and I’m going through the initial shedding phase? I’m a male 26 yr old.
