Shedding After Quitting Finasteride

I heard that if you quit finasteride, you can shed a few weeks after, however as far as I know that was only for people who have been taking finasteride for years.

I took it for 5 days and then stopped due to side effects. Will this mean I will shed in a few weeks? Or since it was such a short period of time will that not happen?

It is impossible to have any effect in your hair in 5 days. Which sides did you have?
