Shedding A Good Amount While Micro Needling

Attached is a picture of what's coming out during my microneedling sessions. Is this normal? They're mostly small hairs too.

I am on my third session and can't say it's causing shedding. But I am still at 1mm depth. Are you on 1.5mm? Do you brush your hair before or at least run your fingers thru your hair to take out the fallen hairs before you start microneedling? Coz maybe these were already on their way out?
