Shed of tiny hairs

Guys, I am going through a shed at the moment, nothing dramatic, about 100 - 150 per day... but one of the curious things I am notcing is that I see a lot of very tiny hairs that don't seem to have ad time to grow at all.

what does this mean?

hopefully these little 'velus' hairs will be replaced with new 'terminal' or more pigmented hairs.

Folk with no male pattern baldness lose between 100 and 150 hairs a day.
