Bomb, looks like your hair is thinning at the root. Maybe its just a bad picture. My hair seems to be doing the same thing.

A week ago my hair seemed so much thicker and healthier and now it seems so thin again. Even though I have been getting regrowth my hair is thin again. Its wierd. You got a solid regimen down to. Man i think its saw palmetto that could be doing it. I stopped the saw palmetto and when I did my hair seems thinner. Did you drop it?

No i dont think stopping saw p would have anything to do with it really. It would take a while to see the "effects" of that. I'm not sure what's going on really, only thing i know is i'm losing a sh*t ton or hair, and my condition is worsening faster than it has since i started.

dude, I shed like 6 times that amount easily, but I still have total coverage. I've been losing it for about 3-4 years. how long would you say you've been losing it?

To Bombscience!

Sorry to hear that man. But u havent been on the propecia very long and it looks like your still shedding from it and who all knows what else. I would start avodart. It is stronger than propecia and has thickened up a lot of my hair already and i havent been on it but for like 2 and a half months so far. The minoxidil could be causeing a shed too. I would stick it out man, cause using minoxidil and propecia is really the best thing u can do. I bet if u keep at it, u will see improvements soon enough. But thats just my opinion. Good Luck!

Thanks for the advice, but i'm going to do Finasteride (propecia) it's due dillegence and stick with it for 12-18months. I think the minoxidil would have already shed my telogen phase hairs by now seeing that I'm in my 6th month of minoxidil treatment. I have a gut feeling, and that gut feeling is me attempting to slow hairloss is actually accelerating my hairloss... call me freaking crazy, but I didn't used to lose hair like this until i started the battle.... 6 ... months .... ago... (8 if you count the irritation months)

Are those single hairs really so bad? Hair does thin out as the growth cycle ends, right? So how bad is that really? It looks like they were maintaining thickness earlier. My hairs look rather similar, actually. And looking at the head shot, my hair isnt that much better. Still I'm happy with it,. maybe I just have lower standards. ;) Regarding those sheds, it could be finasteride sheds.

Good question flux. Hair is supposed to thin a bit at the end of a growth cycle but man, I think it begins thinning a BIT early. Hopefully that's the case... this is a scary point for me right now... there's no turning back, we're just going to have to ride it out....
