Anyone else do this? I find that temple points exaggerate the appearance of temple recession, and that by shaving them off, the distance from the back of the temple recession to the side hairline looks less severe.

I haven't tried it but I've contemplated the idea in the past.

Receding temple points are an icon of male pattern baldness.

Shaving them off makes things worse. A sharper temple point looks a lot better.

It's worth a shot. I've found they grow back quite fast. They tend to be thin and wispy compared to the rest of the hairline anyway so they don't add too much. Once the stubble grows back within a couple of weeks, you'd never even know they were shaved.
