Shave head?

Does shving your head actually make it look better? I have like a couple inches of hair now, N/W 2-3 probably. No balding in the back, just temple recession and thinning in the middle front bad.

but if your really bald don't you have to shave your head almost everyday or else the horseshoe will be noticable?
