Hi everyone, I’m new here and recently had an FUE hair transplant in Korea. I wanted to share my experience from the first day after surgery.
On the day of the procedure, I spent about 2 hours in the recovery room while the follicular units were extracted. After that, I had about 1 hour and 30 minutes of implantation. I arrived at the clinic around 9 a.m. and left around 3–4 p.m.
Aside from some discomfort from the anesthesia, the extraction and implantation themselves weren’t particularly painful. I also really appreciated that the hairline design could be adjusted through discussion during consultation, before the surgery, and even right before the procedure ended.
During recovery, I was able to get online consultations anytime, and I could ask questions or check on precautions whenever I needed. Overall, I felt well taken care of from pre-op through surgery and into post-op recovery.
