Shampoo Vs. Agua

I read shampoo causes thinning and some people are taking the "grunge approach, just using water. I'm not ready to give up on washing my hair. Is there a good shampoo someone could recomend that is free of harsh additives? And is there any truth to this? Suppossedly Brad Pitt doesn't use shampoo. Might just be an internet rumor though.

Yes but not male pattern baldness thinning. There are good shampoos out there. I wouldn't try the grunge method.

Can anyone recomend a shampoo that is sulfate-free? Something very simple with no acids and crap.

i read about the grunge method onlline and posted about it in the experimental section. I tried it for a few days, but it just left my hair limp and i couldnt take it so i started shampooing...but i just leave the shampoo on for a little bit, trying not to let it get to the scalp and then i quickly rinse...who knows?
