I started Propecia (Finpecia) around 2 and a half months go. I'v had some sides, I have also seen hair sprouting out from my temple region, and nearly a complete stopping of my hair falling out. In the Last couple of days I have noticed that my hair starting to fall out again :( , I hope that this is a shed "thingy".

Anyway I'v been using Nizoral 2% but not as often as I should have been, I have also bought the L'oreal Elvive thickening shampoo which many people on this forum seem to be using. I want to start shampooing my hair regularly and it would be a great help if people could recommend what shampoo's I should use on what days etc

Mond. - T/Sal 3% S. Acid /nizoral 1%

Tues. - T/Gel 5% Coal Tar / Loreal Vive Thickening

Wedn - nizoral 1%

Thurs. - T/Gel 5% Coal Tar / Loreal Vive Thickening

Friday - T/Sal 3% S. Acid / nizoral 1%

Sat and Sun. - T/Gel 5% Coal Tar / Loreal Vive Thickening

I never have a scalp itch but im not using any topicals yet . Just finasteride.
im thinking about droping T/Sal to only Fridays

Also im thinking about just expiritmenting with other thickening shampoos although Loreal Vive is cheap as hell and lasts forever

No it doesnt damage your hair...i've been washing my hair every day my whole life and its always been healthy.. just dumb male pattern baldness! but thats not caused by shampooing. Its actually been more healthy recently and i've been shampooing more now than ever...i guess its the T/Gel ?? dont know

I use nizoral 4 days a week alternating with NANO the other days.

I know its only recommended to use nizoral 3 days a week but that is the prescribing recommendation for using it as an antifungal, sincw i am using it as a DHT inhibitor and it doesnt irritate me in any way I think I get more benefit the more I use it.

I dont think there's any need for a conditioner unless your hair is dry.
