Sex can b affect your hair?

lol, I've been loosing my hair since I was 20 and nearly 7 years later I can't grow a proper beard. unk:

In the last few months my beard has really filled in, but my hair loss has seemed to speed up a little. Does this mean I've got a lot of hormone action going on that is making facial hair grow and scalp hair fall out?
