Sending Finasteride Through USPS?

Hey all,

My prescription is in New Jersey and I'm in New York. We can get it really cheap in NJ so my mom was going to pick up my prescription for me (which won't be an issue) and then mail the finasteride to me in NY through the United States Postal Service.

Is it legal to ship finasteride through USPS if it is a prescription drug?
