hi everyone,

I am not here to compare my hairloss situation with any of you but to tell you about my story and seek help. I am 24, started diffuse thinning 3 years. It all started off wirh a scalp condition called seborrheic dermatitis. I fought an ever-long battle (still am) using all types of anti-fungal shampoos. This is important because it impacted my hair density alot.

Although the condition is currently at bay, i i have lost alot of density. Here are some pictures taken today. Hopefully it helps with some diagnosis.

I am reaching out to understand what my line of attack should be to regrow lost hair. Are there diffuse thinners here who have regained any ground?

Thanks

Dude, remove that second picture.
And yes, I was a diffuse thinner and I'm on verge of getting a near-normal density.

I am on 50mg Bicalutamide oral everyday.
After looking at your pictures, especially the one that you removed, I'd say that you're surely going to regain that density if you treat it properly. The requirements differ for every individual.
Also, there's a chance of it being Telogen Effluvium as it doesn't look severe at all. You should probably go to a dermatologist to get a proper evaluation. I'm sure you'll get the lost hair back.

I did try Finasteride for three months.
Yes, I can see thinning in the pictures. Out not the kind of thinning that most of the people on this forum have - DPA. It kinda resembles my type of hair loss - Female Pattern Baldness, though in my case, the mid-split was widening and crown split was widening too. It wasn't overall crown thinning like I'm Male Pattern Baldness.
