Seeing Doctor Tomorrow For My Sleep Issues

I've been having sleep issues for a loooong time, but as of late they've hit their "peak" so to speak. I get TERRIBLE quality sleep almost every night, and even on weekends (when I can sleep in and don't have to go to work) I'm still tired. I have trouble falling asleep, then wake up an average of 3 times to pee every night, and last night it was 4-6 times. I NEVER wake up feeling refreshed after a night's sleep, and I'm not exaggerating when I say I am tired 100% of the time on week/work days, and about 70% of the time on weekends. By tired I mean completely exhausted. Not like "eh I could nap," but like "holy christ God help me I legitimately feel like I'm dying".

Part of me thinks it's due to finasteride/dutasteride.
Part of me thinks it's due to the tons of supplements I take, some of which right before bed.
Part of me thinks it's due to my 5-6 meals per day bodybuilding diet (and I eat close to bedtime)
Part of me thinks I have sleep apnea

I'd go as far to say that 95% of my problems in life are stemming from my lack of sleep. My exhaustion/constant fatigue/total lack of motivation and ambition, my depression, my brain fog, my aching/painful muscles and joints, and my lack of muscle and strength "gains". I went to bed with 8-9 hours on the clock last night, and feel like I slept a total of 3 hours (if that).

Perhaps you should discontinue the most obvious - limiting food, and water intake a couple hours before bed, relaxing away from the computer before hand, and stop over analyzing sh*t over your 'bodybuilding' lifestyle.

Perhaps you might have a minor case of sleep apnea or have to much on your mind.

There are many variables like anything, but I highly doubt finasteride has anything to do with it.

No, hair is what could help.

Why would you need an SSRI if hair loss is your problem?

Transplant or wig, choose 1

Sure ; i perfectly knwo that hair is my solution . But my hair situation is not stable despit being on minxodil and propecia and i am too young for a transplant .
I would be the happiest man on earth if i was n 1 ( or 2 with great density) .
But hte fact that i keep on receding turn me crazy . I am thinking about my hair every second of my life . My brain can't focus on any other things

:(I feel you man, I'm on the same page concerning that. im still hopeful for regrowth from finasteride cause I'm only 5 months on, but it's pretty aggressive so there's def a chance finasteride won't be enough.

But literally, I don't think I catch myself going more than an hour without some kind of hairloss thought. finasteride helped me calm down on the obsessing but 5 months in and baseline or slightly below is discouraging.

Let me put it like this...

I put quitting my job due to lack of sleep on the same page as quitting my hair loss meds due to lack of sleep.

I might even say I'd quit my job sooner than quit the medication.

OP UPDATE.

Be careful when telling your doctor that you're peeing a lot at night, because you'll get a finger up your ***.

Prostate was normal.

Got some blood drawn in regards to my hormones. Results will be in by monday.
