Second rogaine shed?

Been on rogaine foam for 20 weeks, and started shedding more within a week of use. Well now it appears I'm shedding a lot again. Is it possible to have a second shed so soon? or is it male pattern baldness? I have never lost this much even before rogaine.

So I probably lost twice that much today in shower, outside, etc....

I don't know if there is *second* shedding. But what Minoxidil really does is making altars to Hair Growth Cycle, so after several months follicle will be exhausted of growing (locked in Anagen-Phase) and eventually lose its hair.
As you mentioned you are using Minoxidil for 20 weeks, its probably too soon for this! But for anyone would be diverse.

Yep! probably male pattern baldness. Add Ketoconazole %2 Shampoo (Nizoral, etc) to your regimen.

Most probably just a shed... ride it out. I just went through one (and a big, scary one) since mid april till last week, it suddenly stopped completely one day. I had it at the 6th month mark after fantastic results, and I already see some of the lost hair coming back, so I hope in a couple months all will be the same or better than at the start of april. You just seem to be going through it a bit earlier, nothing wrong with that, everyone is different.

I've been using minoxidil for over 2 years, but never on a regular basis (some times 2, 3, or 4 times a week). 6 weeks ago I started using it once a day, every day, and have been shedding like crazy. Genuinely have balding spots right now.

I'm riding it out and hoping it's just from my more regular use of minoxidil.
