LOL what is " a mature hairline"? is it different than male pattern baldness?

A Norwood 2 is a mature hairline. A Norwood 3 is the first stage that is male pattern baldness in everyone who has it. Some people are Norwood 2's and have male pattern baldness. Some people are Norwood 2's and that's as far as they'll go.

So your saying NW2 is not male pattern baldness in people who won't grow to be more than MW2?

No its just part of the aging process, nw1's on a middle aged man are much rarer than nw2. Its like saying most men dont keep the same waistline aged 30 as they had aged 18 but that does'nt mean they are obese.
Many of the nw2's on this site are probably worrying for no reason they will never progress any further.

Maybe they are but I wish I started worrying about it when I was nw2 and maybe could have saved some of my hair!

That's not true! If your hairline goes back your fallicles are susceptible to DHT, and you may go on balding. Sure some may stay a NW2 for years, but they still suffer from male pattern baldness. I see no reason for calling that a" mature hairline" somehow implying that those with a" mature hailine" will not keep growing bald. especially when you can not say who will stop balding for the time being and who will go on to bald.
Loosing hair isn't a normal thing, It's not correct in my eyes to emply a " mature hailine" is normal.

The mature hairline doesn't occur because of DHT I don't think. If people were designed to lose it and got on 2.5 mg a day of dutasteride which inhibits 100% of DHT, they would likely still lose their mature hairline.
