I've been on finasteride for a year and a half, no sides, and it seems i've maintained.

I'm a Norwood 1.5-2 (1.5 on left side, 2 on right side) my crown is great, the only issue i have is the hairline (cludesac area). I have a good point (middle front of hairline) that hasn't moved, it's just the culdesac areas that are spurce/miniturized.

At this point, the only other thing i can now add would be minoxidil for my hairline.. BUT a) it seems like a ton of work and is a major daily/life hindrance, b) you have to do it forever, and c) some people say it isn't that effective.

Should i just be happy with finasteride/nizoral and my Norwood 1.5-2, or should i most def throw in minoxidil and the work/hell that goes with it to maybe go to a strong Norwood 1.5 all around.

Thanks!

i agree with a, b and c

i would suggest giving minoxidil a good go for 6 months; if you don't get desired results then stop, if you do get desired results then 'happy days'. in terms of sides, i get a 'head throbbing sensation' shortly after application, i also got this with the 'low level lazor' thingo, however, there isn't any discomfort, its nothing like a headache.

Rogaine restored my hairline, correct me if I wrong but I think rogaine is best when your hair was lost no too long ago, my hairline was hurt badly in one year, rogaine restored it in 3 months, so the hair wasent really lost just was in a sleep probably
