I have a decent hairline, probably the beginnings of a NW1, but my main issue is my crown/top of head. It is thinning badly and doesn't grow as much as the front, sides, and back.
I've been on finasteride 1mg (Finax) for 2.5 weeks with no noticeable sides. But I am wondering how much can be saved? I'm not bald on top but hair is very sparse and "gappy" on my crown - spaces between follicles.
I have to buzz my hair every week to stop the saturn ring from showing. I guess a photo upload will help you all judge if I'm too late. I will get minoxidil tonight, and think I may need nizoral too. I'm desperate to grow my hair. I'm ugly enough as it is. I'd almost rather be dead than bald. Why be bald, go work for 40 years, die forever alone in a flat with your cat eating you until the neighbours smell you rotting.
If you have sparse hairs on top, are you still in time? Are you only too late once your head is incapable of growing any hair at all on top?
