Scared of Gyno...

Can any reasonably cheap precautions be taken? I'm on 1/4 proscar per day, and if I grow tits I may just totally lose it. It's a bad enough sign that it totally kills my sex-drive (and yes, I'd been on it for 2+ months before just recently re-starting).

I don't get you guys who are in 1/4 of proscar once per day.

The recommended dose for male pattern baldness is 1mg... Not 1.25 mg.

Yeah, i know it's due of money, but if you are serious about hairloss and specially about your heatlh you won't play with your body by taking more than the indicate dose. Take care. Yeah, some will say .25 mg is nothing. But for some reason they recommend 1mg. No more.

If you are looking for something easily accessible for precaution DIM should be it. I am trying to look into it these days. Wish I had done it earlier.
But for actual gyno you will need something stronger or quit the drug as far as I know.

Doses down to 0.2 mg has proven effective.
and effective = risk of sides. That's just the way it is. If you respond to the lower dose it is because finasteride lowers your dht enough. AKA you can get sides. Very simple stuff. if you are prone to sides you will get them at any effective dosage. That doesn't mean that you will though. The odds are still the same I'm sure.

But I agree. I would never myself go ABOVE the recommended dose.
