Scalp still has dried minoxidil even after shampooing...

After shampooing my hair with a clarifying product I still have a dried layer of minoxidil in my scalp. I believe this is limiting the effectiveness of the minoxidil because it makes it harder to penatrate the scalp into the follicle..especially day after day...week after week. When I wash my hair I kinda softly rub it in with my finger tips and let it sit for a couple of minutes. I never scrub with my fingernails because although I'll get that layer off that way....it also takes hair off with it. Sort of like dammed if u do...dammed if u don't. Maybe I'm just looking for a miracle cleansing product to where it basically dissolves off the minoxidil without much agitation. Any suggestions?? Thoughts??

I thought about that...what do you recommend?.....I'm currently using Kirkland 5%

Using nizoral helps with this issue but I also have it...generally the foam produces much less residue than the liquid.

You can buy regular Nizoral shampoo in almost any store.

Try hair oils, leave in over night to moisture the scalp.
