I have scalp pain when I touch my hair and sometimes when I don't.
Also have oily skin and oily scalo.
Anyone have something like this?
How to be treatment?

Yes, I have the same thing. I never had any irritation or dandruff before taking Propecia. After starting it, I shed like a mad man, got dandruff, and had a red irritated scalp. :(

i had this before i started propecia, others have mentioned it too, i think it is the male pattern baldness immune response of losing hair

I'm planning on ceasing the finasteride for a while, just to test if it affects the scalp pain issue at all. What would be the safe period of time for not taking finasteride (by safe I mean that it wouldn't have time to affect my hair condition)?

I've been taking finasteride for two months now. I haven't had any pain. But, my scalp is itchy and oily. I just ordered some tea tree shampoo, hopefully that will help.
