Hey guys,

I was wondering where can one buy Saw Palmetto in Sydney ? I live in the city. Just thought I'll also this instead of starting a new thread.

- What sort of 'Hair Gel' can I use ? I mean, I'm loosing hair and use - Minoxidil. Looking for suggestions from that point of view.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers.

If you're using saw palmetto in the hope it'll help your male pattern baldness you will be disappointed. It is useless.

I'm pretty sure there are other people on the forum using saw palmetto (I'm not one) and I'm also pretty sure that using saw palmetto is not "useless". There does appear to be some evidence that saw palmetto is somewhat effective in treating male pattern baldness. However, it is finasteride that it the FDA approved choice of most members of this forum. I have been using finasteride for over 5 years now and while I think my male pattern baldness may have progressed slightly, my hair is much the same as it was before I started. In answer to your original question, saw palmetto capsules can be purchased at any mainstream health store in Sydney.

As far styling products are concerned, there is no evidence to suggest that they affect male pattern baldness. However, if you are really concerned, MIN New York makes a line of hair products (gels, pomades, pastes, shampoos and minoxidil treatment) that allegedly include a host of "anti-DHT" ingredients and are "beneficial" in the fight against male pattern baldness.

Good luck.

Thanks for the inputs.

If I take Saw palmetto out of my program, will there be some sort of significant difference ? I currently use minoxidil and Proscar.

Cheers.

If you think saw palmetto is useful according to the prevailing evidence, I would also suggest on similar grounds rubbing monkey turds, placenta and horse jizz onto your scalp. It's the business!
