The other thing im going to try is .12 propecia.. Anyone using such a small dose? As I've said I was on propecia sucessfully for 6 months before the sides kicked in.. (Brain fog, depression) If I use .12, can it still do some positives things.. I really want to crack this code, I believe my body can take proscar.. But I just got to find the right balance.. Is my DHT level decreased enough, so I should stop for a while?

The UC Berkeley Wellness Letter expressed concern in March 2003 about the unproven long-term safety of Propecia and recommended cutting a standard 1-milligram dose of Propecia into quarters to reduce the cost without reducing its effectiveness. This claim appears to be supported by clinical pharmacological data reviewed by the FDA during Propecia's approval process that suggested that the advantage of taking 1 mg per day over 0.2 mg per day is statistically small.[17] Some people have unsuccessfully petitioned the FDA to re-examine the approved dosage in light of the statistical evidence and unknown long-term risks.

This amazes me? A lower dosage, won't be as harmful and will do much the same?

The topic headline hardly matches the topic content.

As for propecia, it is still very effective even at 0.2mg/day (almost as effective as a full 5mg). I took 0.15mg/day and still got side effects, however.
