Hey guys well ive seen three derms and they all said diffrent things
1st derm put me on propecia
2nd derm hair specialist said i have Telogen Effluvium and told me i dont need any treatment
3rd derm didnt think i had Telogen Effluvium if i did it was now in the growing phase
and he said he sees nothing wrong with my hair and i dont need any treatment

WITH ALL THAT SAID DO YOU GUYS THINK I SHOULD JUST LEAVE MY HAIR ALONE AND NOT DO ANYTHING ...OR SHOULD I JUST GET ON PROPECIA OR OTHER TREATMENTS IF SO WHICH ONES ??? THANKS GUYS

2 of the docs have said you don't need any treatment so I would do that.

Are you noticing a lot of loss currently?

re:

Derms are a joke. This is strictly an opinion, I would give it a few months (maybe 3-4) to allow your hair to go through another cycle. If you feel at that point that you arellosing your hair or have less then say ayear ago then go on a regime to fight male pattern baldness. finasteride is an option but there areother, just do some research.

Ok..ya well i just started taking fish oil, amd silica, and another sort of herbal drink that taste horrible so ive decided to just take the natural stuff and see what happens..i was thinking about shaving my head while taking these herbs and just not think about my hair for a few months and see what happens ...sound like a good plan?

You also can consider to get into Nizoral, as it has mild anti-androgen properties and it´s great for the scalp oilyness that can aggravate thinning.

It´s cheap and you just have to shampoo your head as usual.

Take regular pictures of your hair. If you see things getting worse, start finasteride the sooner the better.

And forget about it and live your life, you have caught it at the right time, when prevention is still possible.

I was told i had Telogen Effluvium back in the begining of the year and my loss followed the typical male pattern baldness pattern and i was very tempted to jump on a regime but i just stuck with nizoral and vitamins and waited a bit to see if it would get better by itself.Luckily my gamble paid off and ive got regrowth throughout the scalp. If two said it is Telogen Effluvium and one said its in the growth phase i would personally wait a while and see if gets better by itself if there is no change and its getting worse then jump on the propecia.the recovery period for Telogen Effluvium is normally 12 months. As im seeing regrowth im going to hold back on a regime until my 12 months is up then see what the circumstances is then.

truking10, there you go, you've got two of your docs stating that they don't see a problem. So I agree with global in that you should take that collective professional advice
