Hi chaps- I am on dutasteride 0.5 every day (7 months) after 10 years on finasteride. It’s working at the back but the front is totally ruined- I think dutasteride just doesn’t really affect the front rather than it being responsible for the loss.
I have heard many horror stories about heart-related sides from RU but I’m in a desperate place and it’s my only hope. Just wondering what concentration of RU is the minimum effective dose combined with dutasteride. Obviously I’m worried about ru getting in to my blood and blocking androgen receptors in the heart etc but hair loss is ruining my life and it’s a risk I have to take.
Currently using 2.5% ru in 1ml pg/ethanol once a day, hard to say if it’s having an effect. Considering increasing to 5%.
Have also tried CB at 2.5% in 1m stemoxidine, it may have had a weak effect but seemed minimal so switched to RU.
Can anyone with a similar experience help with a safe dosage recommendation?
