S5 Or Dr Lee's 5% spironolactone- which is gentler on the scalp?

Im having some slight irritation issues with dr lees spironolactone, so im wondering if S5 might be easier on my sensitive scalp, seeing as it contains fewer ingredients?

Buy a pot and give it a try, no other way of knowing. Even if someone else has suffered irritation from Dr. Lee's and then been fine with S5 it's no guarantee that you will be.

For what it's worth (which is bugger all), I've had about 6 months on S5 without any irritation.

Still early days but the front has started to feel a little coarser this past month or so. I mean my hairline is too far gone for anything this side of a transplant to really have an impact, but the next few inches in are hanging in there at a decent density and I'm cautiously optimistic that the addition of S5 is tipping the scales in my favour.

As ever time will tell. I'll post an update every 6 to 8 weeks.

JWM- ill have been using it for 4 weeks as of tomorrow (minus 2 days- ill explain quickly)

my scalp was going through a bad bout of irritation so i started dropping certain things on here and there to see if anything in particular was getting to me. dropped spironolactone for 2 days, and things were just as bad, but i could swear that i was losing even more hairs by the 2nd day off...used it again today 2x as i have been before the 2 day break, and it seems (so far) that its against all odds helped calm my irritation just a bit- no idea whether the seemingly higher shed rate means anything or not in relation to the spironolactone tho.

so the short story of that is its too early to tell hah, but if anything comes of my spironolactone trial in the next few months, ill be sure to post my results (i have before pics)
