Rubbing Alcohol Before Using Minoxidil

Hi guys
Is it ok to rub down/clean the crown with rubbing alcohol and let it dry and then apply minoxidil before going to bed?
I only want to use minoxidil once a day and wash it out in the morning shower.

I see.
I mean more as a first step...clean the area well with just alcohol..the apply minoxidil so it would absorb better
